After the study day dedicated on 11 November, the Ateneo Veneto and the Centro Culturale Candiani, the figure and work of the Venetian writer, now Pi Erre - Renato Pestriniero is suitable for his artistic activity, with a choice of 12 works from the period 1972-1976. Less well known but very original, compared to fiction and science fiction novels, the contribution of Pestriniero as the author of paintings of singular intensity and cutting metaphysical, offers guidance and suggestions to the language remarkable illustration of the comic.

Pestriniero Renato was born in Venice, where he lives and works in the July 9, 1933, is married and has a daughter. Until 1988 he was head of department and foreign correspondent at the Venetian branch of a multinational Swiss inspection and certification
qualitative / quantitative. Writer, translator and essayist
has published over 100 short stories, seven novels and four anthologies personal
numerous essays including an anthology in collaboration with Carlo Della
Court. Many of his works have won awards in competitions
national literary stature and have been translated in France, Spain, Germany,
United States of America, Romania. Bulgaria, Czech Republic From his story
A night of 21 hours the director Mario Bava has drawn the film
Terror in the space that represented Italy in the "From Book to Screen"
the XX International Festival of science fiction movies, Trieste , 1982, and
show "A Wonderful World" by Chicago in 1994.
The film was also included in the "industry of prototypes at the 60th International Art Exhibition
Venice Film Festival, 2003, presented the Award
Grinzane Cinema Cavour, Stresa, 2004, in re-restored version
in "The Secret History of Italian Cinema" at the 62nd International Art Exhibition
Venice Film Festival, 2005. Numerous counts
experience television, radio and figurative.
He has lectured at the Cini Foundation and the University Veneto.
