This time we want to believe. Yesterday, we inaugurated the first dual winner of the international staff, which Henry Teale and Kaulaca Vineta .
Federculture opens the door to an important initiative: to create projects for young artists through the involvement of local authorities and foreign national (5 Common, 3 Provinces, Regions 2, 3 reality of Africa and Latin America, 5 European players) center and periphery. The project seems ambitious, a competition involving artists large and small companies to offer local visibility and a home, more than respectable, fourth floor of a beautiful building in Piazza Cavour, where to show off.
The icing on the cake of this initiative is the support offered by the Ministry for Youth and Sports and sponsored by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and GAI-Young Italian Artists. In short, a project turned all the features necessary to help seriously the encouragement of cultural policies in our country. The event took place in the past months with the exposure of all the entries, actually provides four winners, two selected by a jury (ie visitors to the exhibition which has been given a card where you can express your preference) and two other (Nicola Battal and German Lagna) nominated by a scientific committee which met for the occasion.
Yesterday offices Federculture ushered in the works of the winners chosen by popular vote, to behold with pleasure and attention, until 30 April: those that evaluated according to the choice of style and colors used, dell'autunnale Henry Teale City of Turin and the dell'invernale / glacial Kaulaca Vineta given by the Foreign Art Museum in Riga, the source Lapp. This time we want to believe that the jury has voted freely without giving in to pressures, ingrained by now, our scandalous (even more so now) Italian company, has chosen instead as the scientific one, I did not understood.

Father (Andrei Rudavsky '), Mother (Mary Rudavska') daughter (Zuzana Rudavska ') and Son (Ondrej Rudavsky'), a whole family of Slovak artists that are expressed between tradition and evolution. It 'a particular fact to see all invaded by a family passion for art. In Slovakia, I discover only yesterday on the occasion of the exhibition, it often happens. The 4 RUDAVSKY ', accompanied the public along a gallery of paintings, sculptures, ceramics, carpets and tapestries and video up to take him, in the extravagance of the atmosphere of their sites.
deserves special attention Andrei Rudavsky ', (1933) - the father - considered one of the greatest personalities of Slovak art second half of the twentieth century. In 1997 his works were part of the exhibition at the Slovak COINCIDENCES XLVII Venice Biennale together with his wife Mary. Its production is characterized by both non-traditional approaches, per la combinazione di materiali e assemblaggi moderni utilizzati, che dal tentativo di restare fedele alla sua cultura, forme e materie semplici e pure (sculture di legno, pietra e ferro). Predilige la scultura come mezzo di ritorno al mondo dei ricordi e delle esperienze giovanili e come espressione artistica che meglio esprime la simbiosi tra l’uomo e la natura. Non disprezza però la pittura (vari quadri in mostra), dai colori pieni degli olii e degli acrilici, che rimandano all’archetipo della lontana storia e della cultura slava, come Maria e Zuzana Rudavska’, specializzate soprattutto nella tappezzeria tessuta d’autore e nelle ceramiche.

The event concludes with a typical Slovak dinner and a toast in honor of the 4 RUDAVSKY '.
